Sorry for the confusion. “Taken” was supposed to come out today, but Etopia is having problems with their site and is working very hard to correct it all. OMG…just got word that Etopia Press is going to release “Taken” on December 13th!! I had thought it might come out in January or even February, so this kind of threw me for a loop! Have not got the cover art yet. Will post it as soon as possible. Wow…kind of hyper over this!

I received some exciting news recently! My book “Taken” has been accepted by a new publisher, Etopia Press, and should be out January! They are great people and I hope everyone will support them! I never thought I would be part of a publishing launch… In other news, I handed in “Draconian Measures”, (Vlar’s father’s story) to Loose ID at the end of October and will let you know when I hear anything. “Wings 2: Dominion of the Eth” is in the works (you can keep an eye on the progress under “upcoming”) and I hope that it will be done by the end of the year, if not sooner. I have received so many supportive e-mails recently that my urge to write is at fever-pitch! Thanks so much for the encouragement I receive from my readers. I love hearing from you and often your comments help my writing… Readers can often help a writer by finding something that needs clarifying or should have more information. I tend to get too close to my characters and sometimes forget to flesh out the world they are in. It might be clear in my mind but can be a little sparse to someone reading it! Something I am working hard to improve. ; )

Just a quick posting to tell everyone that “The Emperor’s Wolf” has just been released at Loose ID. Also, if you are interested, I have added the original prologue to the story on this website under the page “Tidbits.” The prologue was cut during editing and I feel the story would have benefited with more info. I cannot believe the summer is gone. What the heck! It seems like it hardly started and now it is fall… Well back to the desk then. I get a lot more writing done in the cold months for obvious reasons. Although I have been pretty good; “Draconian Measures” is way ahead of schedule! I had not expected it to be done until the end of the year, and now I am hoping for the end of October. I am going to add a page to my site (Upcoming) with a list of the books I am working on and approximately how far along they are, as well as a brief description of their topic. I jump around from book to book as the mood takes me and I can make great strides on one and have to leave another completely for a while. “Taken” is still at Samhain with changes being viewed. “The Emperor’s Wolf” is going to be out on Oct.19 from Loose ID. I will post a reminder of the release date a little closer to the time and when I have the cover available. I cannot wait to see what Anne Cain will create for me this time! She is a wonderful artist.
